The best situations examples are when you start a business and need a 2nd phone line, when you want to publish an ad on Craigslist or when you start getting in a conversation for dating but there is no limit. Think of how you are using several email addresses already. You can generate a new burner and temporary phone number for every occasion!

Within the app, with the Facebook or Google connect buttons after the first launch. It is the only way to sign up or login. Don't worry about your data pricacy though, no user data is shared with third parties and only your basic data is retrieved by the app. Facebook and Google are only used to speed up the registration process and prevent bad behaviors.

Get your first burner number by pushing the big R button! People can call you on the new number immediately after you have tagged it with a contact e.g. "guitar for sale on Craigslist". For more info, check the tutorial video.

You might not have enough credits left to generate new numbers. Tap the credits button and either buy credits or earn them for free by completing the missions of our offer wall e.g. watch a video.

The app might be disconnected. Ring4 needs to be connected to a stable wireless Internet connection, either Wifi, 3g, 4g, LTE. It also needs to be setup to accept push notifications from your device, necessary to receive the calls and texts. If a red network icon appears at the top, that means that the Ring4 is not connected. You can try to kill the app, with a double tap on the home button and a swipe up. Then restart the smartphone app.

Ring4 can be used in any country and can receive calls and texts from any number worldwide. Ring4 can also call in 15+ countries but Ring4 only allows you to send texts locally i.e. in the country of the generated number that you are texting from.

Tap on the Credits icon-> "Earn free credits", and find the "Missing Credits?" link at the bottom right of the offer wall screen. It will open the support page where you can report a mission with the "Choose an Offer" button. You might need to finish the mission before to receive the credits. You can report a mission if you believe it is dysfunctional and the credits will be automatically credited to your account within 1-2 business days.

Yes! Go the 'My Numbers' screen, select your number, and tap the 'Add time' button. For more info, check the tutorial video.

Go to your recents screen, select an entry from the contact that you whish to block, and use a swipe left to make the "block button" appear

Ring4 does support calls to U.S 800 numbers at this time.

Ring4 does not support neither calls nor texts to 911.

Go to 'My Numbers' screen, select an existing number and you will find a switch in the submenu to activate the Unlimited Talk and Text Subscription subscription

Before to create a number, go to "Select Area Code", you will have access to all available area codes. Please not that based on the demand and inventory available, some area codes require more credits than others. Once your preferred area code is selected, you can create a number by tapping the "R" button.

Once the subscription is activated, you can call and text U.S and Canadian numbers with no limits. The expiration of the number is also voided as long as the subscription is active so that you can keep the phone number forever if you want to!
